Homework Club
Leeds Refugee Forum’s Homework Club is a weekly drop-in session supporting children from Year 1 to Year 6 with English and Maths.
The Club offers a safe and supportive environment for children to have fun and develop their skills and confidence. Alongside academic support in maths and English, we also offer activities such as active games and quizzes, encouraging children to make friends from different communities and bond with their peers.
The Homework Club runs twice a week during term time thanks to our team of dedicated volunteers.
First of all I want to say a huge thanks for your hard work in supporting my children as they develop their skill and knowledge. I really appreciate you. It is helpful. It has been a great experience which can help my children to revise their lessons properly. They honestly would have never passed their exam if it was not your help! Your teaching methods are great, very clear and concise. You don’t waste hours explaining meaningless background. Your manner of teaching is also wonderful and refreshing. You are patient and supportive and really know how to motivate your students and great at building confidence and keeping lessons fun and engaging through a variety of activities that improve conversation, writing and reading. Keep doing the good things. We are glad to have you beside us!

Youth Group
We offer free one to one academic support for year 7 up to A levels through our Youth Tutoring sessions. Our one to one support is offered through Zoom and we work closely with students and parents from households that experience numerous barriers including language and integration.
It’s very good, my children are happy. The tutors helped my kids a lot. It is good for me as a mother because every week I have some time when my son and daughter are doing English and Homework Club.
