At Leeds Refugee Forum we run a number of English for Speakers of Other Languages classes, commonly known as ESOL classes.
These ESOL classes provide learners with the English skills necessary for day-to-day life in the UK. They are also a great way to meet new people and connect with others in the community.
We have ESOL classes for speakers of all abilities, from those who speak little to no English up to intermediate level, as well as a weekly self-study group. We also host a University of Leeds STAR English Conversation Class, which is a drop-in session that allows students to practice their conversational skills.
All of our ESOL classes are free to attend and are held at One Community Centre in Lincoln Green.
Our ESOL classes run on weekdays during term time only.
If you would like to know more about our English classes, or are not sure which class to register for, please get in touch and someone will be happy to help you.
I benefit a lot from them, and the teachers are very nice to us. I wish there were more classes in the week. I like it!
