A trustee is an individual person or member of a board given control or powers of administration of property in trust with a legal obligation to administer it solely for the purposes specified. For the Leeds Refugee Forum, our Board of Trustees comprises of individuals elected by our members. The Trustees meet every six to eight weeks to administer the running of the organisation and the One Community Centre.
Leeds Refugee Forum is a forum of Refugee Community Organisations (RCOs) in Leeds.
Our members include organisations representing over 30 groups.
What is an RCO?
A refugee community organisation (RCO) is a community-led group of people who support refugees and asylum seekers. Depending on their size, activities and funding, they may organise cultural events, offer advocacy and support, develop language classes, support members with building skills such as IT or English, and host a range of other activities.
